Terms of Use
These Terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("RoboRebbe," "we," "us") for use of the RoboRebbe mobile app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RoboRebbe.
1. Who may use RoboRebbe
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. A child may practice using the app under an account held and supervised by their parent, guardian, or tutor. The account holder is responsible for all activity under the account and for supervising any minor who uses it.
2. What RoboRebbe is — and isn't
RoboRebbe is a practice coach, not a religious authority. Its scores, percentages, and feedback are study aids generated by software and may contain errors. They are not a ruling on ritual fitness, halachic correctness, or whether you are "ready," and they are not a substitute for your rabbi, cantor, or tutor. Always follow the guidance of your own clergy.
3. Your account
Keep your login credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RoboRebbe for your own non-commercial learning. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Content and intellectual property
- The RoboRebbe app, its software, design, and original content are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and protected by intellectual-property laws.
- Cantor audio is provided by PocketTorah and used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license. The Hebrew text is from the Westminster Leningrad Codex. This material remains the property of its respective sources and is used under its license; you receive no ownership of it.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via our payments partner RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings. Prices may change with notice. Refunds are handled under the policies of the App Store or Google Play.
7. Acceptable use
Use RoboRebbe only for lawful, personal learning. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, access it through unauthorized means, or use it to infringe anyone's rights.
8. Disclaimers
RoboRebbe is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that scoring or feedback will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of RoboRebbe. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using RoboRebbe and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
